4월12일부터 4월13일까지 미시간 디트로이트에서 개최되는 AV Sensors Expo에 오토엘이 참가하였다.

동 전시회는 자율주행 전문 전시회로 타 전시회와는 다르게 자율주행 관련 부품, 장비, OEM 업체가 참석하였으며, 업체별 발표 진행 및 자유로운 Roundtable 미팅이 진행되었다.

주최측(Microtech Ventures)은 Automotive Vehicle(AV) Sensor에 관련된 전시회 뿐만 아니라 Drone, Robot Sensor, FMCW Technology, Automotive Thermal Imaging 및 LiDAR에 관련된 전시회도 주최하여, 본격적으로 금년부터 영업을 진행하는 오토엘은 해당 주최측에서 개최하는 다른 전시회도 적극적으로 검토하여 참여할 계획이다.

이번 전시회를 통하여 General Motors와 Volkswagen의 엔지니어를 포함하여 한국타이어 자회사인 Preciseley 센서 및 부품업체가 당사 부스를 방문하여 기술적인 미팅을 가졌으며, 특히 자동차등급 환경내구시험을 마치며 양산 가격이 타 업체 대비 현저히 낮은 라이다 생산이 가능한 오토엘에 큰 관심을 보였다.

양산에 필요한 낮은 가격, 내구도에 중점을 두고 있는 현 시점에서 FMCW방식의 문제점과 1,550nm의 비싼 가격을 해결할 수 있는 방식에 대한 논의 및 오토엘 기술력에 대한 소개를 갖는 한편, 각 업체의 기술 소개 및 회의가 중점적으로 이루어져 내년도 AV Sensors 전시회 참가 전에는 미리 업체별로 미팅 계획을 잡은 후 참석할 예정이다.

AV Sensors Expo 2023

AutoL Co., Ltd participated in AV Sensors Expo held in Detroit, Michigan from April 12th to April 13th. Unlike other exhibitions, AV Sensors Expo focused on autonomous driving, with participation from companies specializing in autonomous driving components, equipment and OEMs, and the main event was company-specific presentations and free roundtable meetings.

The organizers, Microtech Ventures, also hosted other exhibitions related to drones, robot sensors, FMCW technology, automotive thermal imaging and LiDAR.

AutoL Co., Ltd, which is actively expanding its business starting this year, plans to actively participate in other exhibitions organized by Microtech Ventures

During this exhibition, AutoL Co., Ltd had technical meetings with engineers from General Motors, Volkswagen, and Precisely, a subsidiary of KoreaTire, and other component companies who visited our booth. They showed great interest in AutoL's ability to produce LiDAR at a significantly lower cost compared to other companies, with a focus on low cost for mass production and durability, especially after completing Hyundai automotive environmental durability testing. 

Discussions were held on resolving the issues with FMCW technology and the high cost of 1,550nm, as well as introducing AutoL's technological capabilities. As this exhibition focuses on meetings and discussions on technology introductions, AutoL Co., Ltd will plan to schedule meetings with each company in advance before participating in next year's AV Sensors Expo.
